INTERNAL SEWERAGE SYSTEM FOR MULTISTORY BUILDINGS Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: construction engineering; public services dealing with development of sewerage systems. SUBSTANCE: proposed system includes vertical risers connected with discharge pipe by means of elbow; risers consists of alternating sections of pipes: some sections are made from pipes with spiral fins and other sections are made from smooth-wall pipes; length of section with spiral fins is no less than height of one storey and length of section of smooth-wall pipe is equal to height of three storeys. Elbow is a heavy thick-walled fitting made from cast iron; its one end is connected to lower portion of riser made in form of section of pipe with spiral fins; other end of elbow is connected to discharge pipe. EFFECT: reduction of noise level; enhanced reliability due to reduced possibility of choking. 2 cl, 2 dwg
