FIELD: separation of loose materials by size of particles; separation of grain and products of its processing. SUBSTANCE: classifier includes inclined chutes mounted in its housing and provided with devices for control of their position. Chutes are arranged in cascade with clearances between them which are adjusted for separation of product of definite size. Initial velocity of motion of product over chutes is adjusted by respective device consisting of struts with movable supports. Supports are provided with guides where accelerating section moves. Secured on struts by means of brackets is loading device provided with two dampers adjusting the load of classifier. Accelerating section is secured to housing by means of hinges. During motion in loading device and over accelerating section, product gains initial velocity adjusted for obtaining required quality of fractions. Required speed is obtained through turn of accelerating section relative to hinge, thus changing the working length of section and angle of inclination to level. Alignment of this turn with adjustment of height of fall of product on accelerating section is achieved due to securing the loading device on movable supports together with which accelerating section moves over struts. EFFECT: improved quality of fractions; enhanced efficiency of separation of loose materials; reduced overall dimensions of classifier; reduced usage of metal. 1 dwg
