PLANT FOR DRYING OF EDIBLE FIBER Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: plants for drying of edible fibers. SUBSTANCE: plant includes vertical tube carrying spiral trough enclosed in casing formed by louvers. Casing side wall above louvers is perforated for withdrawal of used drying agent through vertical tube. Through is separated into zones. Branch pipes for supply of drying agent are locate in each zone. There are also branch pipes for supply and withdrawal of treated material. Vertical tube has cover in which branch pipe is installed for withdrawal of used drying agent and additional tube with cover and branch pipes for supply of additional flow of drying agent, and withdrawal of dried material. Additional tube is located coaxially to vertical tube and forms circular channel together with it for withdrawal of used drying agent. Area of trough flow section increases in direction of material motion. Perforation of casing side wall for discharge of used drying agent is made in end of each zone of trough. Branch pipe for supply of material is located in plant lower part. Branch pipe for material unloading is located in cover of additional tube. Branch pipe for supply of additional flow of drying agent is located in lower part of additional tube. EFFECT: higher quality of ready product, intensive use of drying chamber working volume, reduced specific metal consumption. 2 dwg
