FIELD: liquid aeration technology. SUBSTANCE: this relates to devices intended for saturating liquids with oxygen of air and for mixing of liquid. Mechanical aeration device can be used in aeration facilities for biochemical purification of domestic and industrial effluent in various fields of national economy. Device has rotor made in hollow version and is configurated as single-space hyperboloid turned with its vertex down. External surface and internal surface of rotor are provided with spiral-like blades. Application of embodiment of device ensures intensification of liquid aeration process due to increased area of contact between liquid and gaseous phases. This is achieved by more uniform distribution of liquid over cross-section of spray together with higher uniformity and dispersity of liquid spraying. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
