AERATION TANK AND DISPLACER Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

Abstract RU 2191751 C2

FIELD: biological cleaning of sewage; aeration tanks and displacers. SUBSTANCE: aeration tank and displacer includes rectangular reservoir divided into communicating chambers by means of vertical partitions with additional bounding partitions - aerators located before them. Filter elements connect transversal vertical partitions with additional bounding partitions. Pneumatic aerators are connected with pneumatic line. Device has unit for introducing sewage to be treated which is made in form of flexible pipe line laid under layer of water with widening packings on it; these packings have curvilinear helical guides on inner surface. Packings are located in staggered order horizontally towards motion of water and vertically downward. Pneumatic aerators are just pulsators made in form of hyperboloid of one sheet with bent bimetallic plates located in inner cavity; opposite butts of these plates form right angle. Some pulsators are located horizontally and are oriented towards packings directed downward and other pulsators are directed upward; holes in vertical partitions are made in staggered order. EFFECT: increased productivity; enhanced economical efficiency. 3 dwg
