FIELD: oil and gas production industry. SUBSTANCE: according to method, isolation of water inflows is achieved by injection into bed of isolating water solution based on salt of silicic acid. Prior to that, injected into bed is fresh water with hardness not over 4.3 mmole-eqv/l until achieving permanent injection pressure. Application of method improves performance characteristics together with deeper penetration into bed of isolating solution. Also spontaneous gel formation is prevented. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
