FIELD: casting metal to ingot molds or to molds of continuous casting plants. SUBSTANCE: ladle has on its bottom protrusions which at least partially are arranged radially relative to casting hole of ladle. Height of protrusions consists 0.10-0.32 of ladle height. At final stage of casting, volume of metal and slag remained in ladle is divided by means of protrusions by separate sections. Solidified crust may be easily removed from ladle. Height of protrusions is optimal for making divided crust. EFFECT: improved design. 5 dwg
