FIELD: processes and equipment for continuous steel casting. SUBSTANCE: tundish ladle includes receiving and discharging chambers divided by partition. Steel from tundish ladle is fed by protection pipe to suppressor-receiver mounted on ladle bottom in order to suppress kinetic energy of metal stream. Metal gradually fills receiving chamber and through overflow passages of partition it is fed to casting chamber. Overflow passages are cone ones. Passages of low and mean floors of partition are narrowed to side of casting chamber that is why rate of metal streams increases. Metallic inclusions are transported to upper layer of metal by means of bubbles of blown gas. Passages of upper floor of partition have inverse conicity that is why rate of metal streams decreases. It prevents attraction of non-metallic inclusions from slag to steel. Outlet portions of passages at side of casting chamber are in the form of protrusions. EFFECT: enhanced quality of removing non-metallic inclusions out of steel, improved strength of tundish ladle lining. 6 cl, 2 dwg, 1 tbl
