FIELD: drilling of slanted wells. SUBSTANCE: device is deflecting tool which includes unit of casing with windows and connected with flow string, installation pipe located in casing for accommodation of deflecting tool rod, key located in pipe for engagement with J-shaped recess on deflecting tool rod. Deflecting tool consists of upper and lower parts which are fixed by keys depending on relative rotation. Unit of casing pipe with installation pipe is located in well and windows are accurately oriented by means of gyro surveying instrument. After drilling of the first side well, upper part is raised and rotated for installation of deflecting surface for drilling the second side well. Pipe is first closed with cover containing marking fluid. After boring the cover, marking fluid indicates removal of cover. EFFECT: reduced expenditures for drilling of slanted wells from well main bore and simplified process of well branching. 13 cl, 8 dwg
