ASSEMBLED WELL PIPE COLUMN Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC E21B47/00

Abstract RU 2335630 C2

FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: assembled well pipe column contains upper pipe portion of column, which has upper and lower ends with channel formed between these ends, and lower portion of well pipe column also having upper and lower ends. At that the lower end is designed either to be attached to a drill bit or includes a drill bit. Further there is a connecting device designed for selective connection of the lower and upper portions of the well pipe column to each other above the lower end of the lower portion of the well pipe column, and an auxiliary tool, containing a drive unit; the latter is designed to manipulate the unit for connecting the well pipe column in such a way as to disconnect the lower portion of the well pipe column from its upper portion. Also the auxiliary tool is made so that after disconnection of the upper and lower portions of the well pipe column the said tool runs through an aperture at the lower end of the upper portion of the well pipe column to achieve an operating position. At that the lower end of the lower portion of the well pipe column is located at a distance from the lower end of the upper portion of the well pipe column at connection of upper and lower portions of column with each other, thus the lower end of the upper portion of the well pipe column is situated between the lower and upper end of the lower portion of the well pipe column. Assembled well pipe column is implemented to perform operations in a bore hole outside the well pipe column.

EFFECT: upgraded efficiency of performing various operations during boring of well without implementation of special rock destructing tool.
