FIELD: mechanical engineering; turbocompressors. SUBSTANCE: proposed turbocompressor is aimed at increasing power output and economy of internal combustion engines by supercharging in air conditioning systems and other power generating machines. Turbocompressor consists of housing, single-disk rotor and bearing unit. Working blades of centrifugal turbine are arranged in central part of rotor. Turbine blading changes at exhaust into blading of centrifugal disk compressor arranged in peripheral part of rotor. Radial arrangement of centrifugal turbine and centrifugal compressor makes is possible to increase efficiency of turbocompressor by decreasing losses in blading and to use rarefaction created by compressor to increase efficiency of turbine. Moreover, exhaust gas noise is decreased when gases pass through disk compressor blading. EFFECT: increased efficiency of internal combustion engines, reduced noise. 1 dwg
