FIELD: aircraft armament. SUBSTANCE: aerial adjustable bomb has a nose section with a television homing head and successively connected warhead compartment with inertia blast sensors and tail instrumentation section with stabilizers and controls installed on it. The warhead is furnished with thermobaric explosive compound. A thin- walled transient compartment, having a length equal to 0.7 to 1 bomb caliber and made of material that is readily deformable at impact loads, is installed between the nose section and warhead compartment. A damping steel plate with a mass of 3 to 4% of the bomb mass is rigidly secured inside the compartment at a distance of 2 to 2.1 calibers from the bomb nose. The warhead blast inertia sensors are positioned on the inner surface of the nose section at a distance not exceeding 0.8 to 1 caliber from the bomb nose. EFFECT: redistribution of energy of bomb explosion shock wave in time and space, enhanced efficiency of selective destruction of objects. 2 cl, 1 dwg
