FIELD: measurement of humidity of gaseous atmosphere. SUBSTANCE: invention makes it possible to use one temperature meter instead of two that operates in turn under dry and wet conditions. Short-term wetting leaving thin film of water on temperature sensitive element is used instead of continuous wetting. This approach exempts measurement from systematic error.
