FIELD: resistive furnaces with working temperature of 2000 C, in particular, for pulling quartz support tubes. SUBSTANCE: device has current- conducting water-cooled pipe and graphite choke, which is connected to both tube and heater. Pipe is designed as ring which embraces choke and part of heater with space. Choke is designed as sequence of ring sectors, which side surfaces are incident with respect to face surfaces. Choke is located on face surface of heater to provide wedge-shaped slots which are extended in direction from heater. Choke is pressed by spring-loaded wedges which interact with wedge-shaped slots. EFFECT: simplified manufacturing and mounting, possibility to feed heavy currents. 3 dwg
