SUBSTANCE: solid-fuel storage battery has annular plates 1 mounted on central gas-admission pipe 2 with closed free end 3 installed on base 4 of case, Partition 6 divides inner space of pipe 2 into compartments 7 and 8. Plates 1 form alternating cathode and anode spaces communicating through holes 9, 10 with compartments 7, 8 of gas pipe 2. Compartments 7, 8, in their turn, communicate with gas inlets 11, 12. Gas mixture flowing in space 14 is fired by starting device 15. Plates have similar circular corrugations; corrugation depth and distance between tops of corrugations exceed plate thickness by order of magnitude. Overhanging fixation of gas admission pipe 2 and plates 1 prevents mechanical stresses caused by thermal strain. EFFECT: improved resistance to thermal strain. 3 cl, 5 dwg
