FIELD: agriculture, herbicides. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical agents for plant protection, in part, to acetochlor-base herbicide composition. Invention describes the composition containing the derivative of chloroacetamide and 1-(m-trifluoromethylphenyl)-3-chloro-4-chloromethylpyrrolidone-2. Composition has N-(2-methyl-6- -ethylphenyl)-N-(ethoxymethyl)-chloroacetamide as a derivative of chloroacetamide taken at mass ratio of components = (1.0- -1.5):(1.0-2.5). Composition shows synergistic interaction of components and does not exhibit phytotoxic effect on cultured plants. Composition causes the death of mono- and dicotyledonous annual weeds in lupine plants by 86-92%. EFFECT: enhanced herbicide activity of composition. 1 tbl
