FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves showing a test speech signals to a patient as they are, changing their intensity until maximum probability of their recognition is achieved (not less than 0.5) taking the found value as initial one. Then the speech signals are given together with acoustic noise increasing signal/noise ratio from 0 to a value enabling correct recognition of test signals to be 20% lower than the initial one. The value is taken into account when calculating signal/noise ratio, when its value is less than -7dB, it is taken as noise immunity for patients having no neurosensory hypacusia. The value is equal to or greater than -7dB, and it is taken as noise immunity for patients having manifestations of neurosensory hypacusia. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy and speed in evaluating noise immunity. 3 dwg, 1 tbl
