FIELD: medicine, particularly, surgical instruments. SUBSTANCE: dilator may be used during surgical operations on organs of abdominal cavity, small pelvis and perineum. The wound dilator has vertical post with turning bracket and horizontal cantilever, in the form of asymmetrical arc, attached to surgical table. Horizontal cantilever has retainer on one end and link mechanism in the form of turning cardan joint, on the other end. Turning cardan joint includes rocking hinge for installation of diverting hook. Turning bracket is made in the form of tooth-type coupling with recess for installation of vertical post.
