FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method for patient preparation for surgical intervention. A patient is fixed on an operational table. An anaesthesia care is provided. An operative approach is created in superior-medium laparotomy by the impact of wound retractor hooks on chondrocostal frame of thorax. The approach is created with the incisional wound ends forced to be opened taking into consideration the patient's body type in accordance with certain relations.
EFFECT: method provides improved quality control of the operative approach in the patient and reduced operative injures.
