FIELD: entertainment industry, in particular, construction of billiard tables. SUBSTANCE: billiard table has base with sides extending along its perimeter. Each side has projecting part made in the form of at least one detachable member which may be mounted on base for forming billiard pocket or Carambol table. Each side has at least one closure pivotally connected to side or base and is made so as to fix at least one detachable member relative to base. Closure may be provided with step and at least one member for biasing at least one detachable member to base and providing engagement between detachable member step and closure step. Such construction of table allows different types of billiard to be played. EFFECT: simplified construction and provision for playing different types of billiard. 2 cl, 4 dwg
