FIELD: tire industry; applicable in assembly of breaker bands. SUBSTANCE: pocket-making drum has hub, radially extended sectors and mechanism for their moving mounted on drive shaft. Mechanism for moving the extended sectors is made in form of connected with sectors and spring-loaded pushers installed for moving in guides, and bushing movable along the drive shaft. Bushing has conical surface for engagement with spring-loaded pushers. The drum has telescopic bushing mounted between sectors and having a stop screw, and sector is connected with spring-loaded pushers by means of studs and nuts. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
