FIELD: investigations of rock mechanical properties. SUBSTANCE: device has frame, perforated sleeve for rock tested specimen, punch and piston of loading hydraulic cylinder made for their axial displacement. Installed in space formed between punch and piston of loading hydraulic cylinder is flexible member with variable rigidity, for instance, in the form of conical spring, tightening bolt and holding cylindrical spring. EFFECT: eliminated percussion phenomena in device during its deformation and higher authenticity of determination of power consumption in breakage of rock. 2 dwg
