FIELD: rolled tube production, namely rear tables of tube rolling mills. SUBSTANCE: rear table of tube rolling mill includes arranged along rolling axis: thrust-adjusting mechanism for holding mandrel bar, drive unit for moving mandrel bar; centering devices; struts with chutes placed in different levels for new and waste bars; mechanism for feeding and changing bar. The last mechanism is in the form of toothed racks arranged mutually in parallel and having gear drive for moving them. Each rack has on its end turned to rolling mill V-shaped clamp for clamping bar and it is mounted on two supporting units. One supporting unit is in the form of runners mounted in unit with driven pinion having lateral clearance 2-3 mm. Second supporting unit is in the form of roller secured to lever jointly mounted on strut and rotated by means of hydraulic cylinder. Mandrel bar may be changed during two strokes of racks. At first stage racks move towards axis of rolling mill under bar, they are lifted by means of rollers for taking off bar and then displaced to stacking position. After that racks descend in order to place bar into chute for waste mandrel bars and then they are removed to initial position. At second stage racks are lifted for taking off new bar from respective chute, moved with bar towards axis of rolling mill for placing bar and then they are moved to initial position. EFFECT: reduced time period for changing mandrel bar at lateral delivery of sleeve due to using the same mechanism for feeding and changing bar. 2 dwg
