FIELD: civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: method includes mixing of binder, water, foaming agent, and additive in two stages: homogenization and porosity formation. The stage of porosity formation is combined with binder activation which is performed by treatment of homogenized mixture of binder, water and foaming agent solution for 2-15 min in continuous-action centrifugal-type activator with circular speed of 1500-5000 m per min and hourly capacity of 20-100 volumes of mixture prepared in the course of one procedure. The method may be effected with sand and/or other coarse filler introduced into mixture after stage of porosity formation and activation, thus homogenizing obtained mixture additionally. The device intended for method embodiment has periodical-action mixer with mixing member and drive. It is provided with continuous-action centrifugal-type activator coupled to mixer by pipelines. Assemblies of mixture feed control and air delivery into activator are positioned in sequence on pipeline between mixture and activator. EFFECT: improved quality of foam concrete. 3 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
