FIELD: transport engineering; automotive industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed transmission can be used in manufacture of simple, high-speed, all- wheel-drive vehicles - cross - country automobiles with automatic stepless transmission featuring high performance. Transmission has two V-belt variable-speed drives installed in parallel and symmetrically relative to longitudinal axis of vehicle with distribution of power flow from each variable-speed drive to front and rear wheels on one side of vehicle. Thanks to it number of speeds (gears) is increased to 9, with resulting reduction of fuel consumption, increased reliability of transmission owing to simplification of its design. Torque is transmitted independently to each wheel at independent suspension of all wheels which improves stability of vehicle in motion.
