FIELD: covering of motor roads, airfields, etc. SUBSTANCE: method includes introduction of polymer into bitumen binder, mixing of bitumen-polymer composition with mineral part containing crushed stone, sand-gravel mixture, activated mineral powder and sulfur. In so doing, sulfur is introduced into composition of mineral part with sulfur preliminarily mixed with activated mineral powder in the amount of 10-100% of polymer component weight. Polymer is used in the form of crumb of nonvulcanized rubber or copolymer of ethylene with propylene, or copolymers of ethylene with vinyl acetate, or divinyl-styrene thermoelastic plastic. Polymer may be introduced into bitumen binder in the form of 20-30-% solution in organic solvent.
