FIELD: building materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to asphalt concrete mixture and to method for its preparing that can be used in arrangement of automobile roads, airdromes and so on. Asphalt concrete mixture comprises the following components: petroleum bitumen, broken stone, sandy-gravel mixture and mixture of dolomite powder with pellet powder exhibiting granulometric composite characterizing residue value on sieve 0.14 mm - 2 wt.-%, not above, and content of the following components, wt.-%: iron oxides, 90.53; SiO₂, 3.3; CaO, 0.11 formed in production of reduced hot-briquetted iron in mining-concentration plant taken in the following ratio of components, wt. -%: petroleum bitumen, 6-8; broken stone, 26-33; sandy-gravel mixture, 35-43; dolomite powder 14.4-29.7; pellet powder from mining- -concentration plant, 1.6-3.3. Method for preparing asphalt concrete mixture involves the preliminary preparing activated mixture of 14.4- -29.7 wt. -% of dolomite powder with 1.6-3.3 wt.-% of pellet powder from mining-concentration plant by mixing the indicated mixture in ball mill with 0.32-1.65 wt. -% of petroleum bitumen and mixing the prepared activated mixture in mixing device in heated state with 26-33 wt.-% of broken stone, 35-43 wt. -5 of sandy-gravel mixture and 4.35-7.68 wt.-% of petroleum bitumen. Invention provides enhancement of adhesiveness of bitumen binding agent with mineral moiety surface, strength and water resistance of asphalt concrete mixture.
