FIELD: methods of manufacture of molten finely-divided ceramic materials. SUBSTANCE: process for rapid cooling of molten ceramics includes introduction of jet of molten ceramics into turbulent flow of fluid medium. Ceramic jet is broken into fine particles which solidify in passing through cyclone and then they are separated from fluid flow and accumulated in the form of dry particles of ceramic material. EFFECT: produced molten ceramic material rapidly cooled with minimum dusting to obtain comparably uniform spherical particles. 7 cl, 3 dwg
