METHOD FOR OPENCAST MINING OF SLOPING AND STEEP DEPOSITS OF MINERALS Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: according to method, quarry field is opened by using system of external and internal approach ways. Mining operations are performed by longitudinal and lateral passes through opencasting and extracting benches with advancement of working front towards direction of strike of deposits. Transportation of overburden material is carried out along haulage sites or berms over non-working side to benches of internal dump. Minerals are transported over same haulage lines to surface of quarry. Sites of internal dumps are formed by system of inclined downway ramps which are built over dump benches. In case when load traffic flows are crossing at hauling of extracted mineral, built is lower part of inclined downway ramp. When load traffic flows are not crossing, built is upper part of inclined downway ramp. Application of aforesaid method allows for increasing productive capacity of operations together with reducing capital input. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg
