FIELD: rotary electrical machines for industrial mechanisms and domestic appliances. SUBSTANCE: totally enclosed fan-cooled frameless machine has laminated stator core with winding, end shields with bearing assemblies, rotor with shaft, external cooling fan, and shroud; longitudinal through ducts are provided stator back, three of them accommodating cylindrical studs arranged symmetrically relative to center line of machine and spaced apart at certain angle which are used to compress core stack by means of two end rings whose seats are joined with end shields; end rings have longitudinal through holes whose number, configuration, size, and arrangement fit those of longitudinal through ducts in stator back. Machine stator is rectilinear octagon, hexagon, or square in cross-sectional area. Ducts are arranged in stator back symmetrically relative to plane crossing center line of machine perpendicular to any of laminated core faces, their number being a multiple of six, twelve, and eight. Stator is locked in position by injection molding in longitudinal through slots. Stator is also molded outside to form monolithic structure with two end rings.
