FIELD: oxygen generation technics. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for production of oxygen from chemicals and can be used both in respirators and for medical and technical purposes. Generator contains housing with gas-outlet nipple and oxygen cartridge incorporating solid oxygen-release element in the form of perforated briquette provided with protective shell and inserted into sealed heating shell placed in briquette perforation. Outside part of protective shell is made transparent in the form of screw armor of thin metal foil tape with overlapping vicinal turns and inside part represents continuous nontransparent surface. Oxygen-release element composition contains, %: sodium perchlorate, 70-80; silicon, 1.0-2.5; sand sodium superoxide and/or peroxide, the balance. Using above-described generator as prototype, oxygen-supply apparatus is constructed supplemented by cooler included after generator and also adsorbent-bed receiver. EFFECT: expanded functional possibilities of oxygen generator and oxygen-supply apparatus; increased and stabilized oxygen-release composition degradation rate. 7 cl, 3 dwg
