FIELD: powder metallurgy, particularly, production of light materials with low coefficient of linear expansion. SUBSTANCE: material may be used as structural one in manufacture of control devices of aircraft control systems. The material consists of aluminum-base alloy containing silicon and nickel. Refractory component silicon introduced in to alloy is insoluble in aluminum at the following ratio of alloy and silicon, wt.%: alloy, 78-82; and silicon, 18-22. Alloy contains the components in the following ratio, wt. %: silicon, 15-30; nickel, 4-7; aluminum, the balance. EFFECT: higher dimensional stability, low density, better workability, necessary vacuum tightness and low linear expansion coefficient.
