FIELD: wind power engineering; wind power plants with several units of increased power; autonomous complexes with DC power supply sources. SUBSTANCE: wind motor includes envelope with helical blades, horizontal shaft and electric generator. According to invention, several rods of turbine blades are secured along shaft by means of cylindrical hubs with cone-shaped heads; turbine blades are provided with load-bearing members to whose upper portion shell of revolution is secured; shell of revolution is made in form of truncated cone whose lesser section is directed in the wind; shell of revolution has coat made from sheet material and primary skeleton to which spiral walls-blades are secure; guide helical shelves are secured to primary skeletons on windward side to ensure required direction of air flow; on opposite side, skeletons are strengthened with stiffeners forming spatial rigid system; ratio of length of shell to its center diameter may range from 0.5 to 3. Shaft of wing motor is mounted on two supports secured on working site with swivel platform mounted in the wind and automatic control system fitted on support mast.
