FIELD: medical equipment, in particular, injured people transportation facilities. SUBSTANCE: method involves making bed and handles from separate perforated polymeric pipes of regular shape; securing pipes to form layers; making bed by interconnecting at least two layers. Number of pipes in upper layer exceeds that of lower layer by one. When layers are arranged in required position, projections on upper layer are inserted into slots in lower layer. Perforated polymeric pipes of bed serve stretcher handles. Polymeric pipes from which perforated members are made have surface defined by intersecting threads, which are rigidly secured at intersection points.
