FIELD: processes for hydraulic forging of hollow branched parts such as T-pieces from tubular blanks. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes frame, hydraulic cylinders for axial compression of blank provided with punches. Apparatus also includes multiplicator for feeding liquid into cavity of blank, table supporting lower die half, traverse bar supporting upper die half, timing device, hydraulic system, programmable controller and monitoring pickups connected with it. Apparatus includes pickups for detecting starting of blank filling, working speed of punches for axial compression, termination of shaping, initial positions of traverse bar, axial compression punches, multiplicator, timing device. First three pickups are arranged in working zone of operator. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency, improved ergonomic operational conditions. 5 dwg
