FIELD: servosystems. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to positioning servosystems in which mismatch between required relative positions of driving and driven members leads to application of force resulting in decrease of such error. Positioning servosystem is considered on example of steering system with intermediate booster in which transmission with stepless control of gear ratio of epicyclical type is used with regulated gear ratio, in particular, belonging to type with toroidal grooves and clutch force transmitted by rolling. Transmission with stepless control of gear ratio is arranged coaxially with steering wheel or other rotating actuating member 3 and steering or driven mechanism and it generates output signal to increase steering in response to mismatching in positions of operating member and steering mechanism. Invention provides description of devices 51, 52 preventing errors at normal hand coupling of actuating member and steering mechanism if transmission with stepless control of gear ratio is to stop rotating and the cases of reversal of normal operation when steering mechanism tends to turn actuating member. Invention contains also description of devices in which transmission with stepless control of gear ratio belongs to type with toroidal grooves for providing equality of forces applied to steering mechanism by all its connections with transmission with stepless control of gear ration. EFFECT: actuation of additional power source when deflection of shaft exceeds definite value to increase torque on steering wheel and decrease efforts arising in steering gear. 18 cl, 4 dwg
