FIELD: methods of processing of mineral and technogenic materials for production of compounds of titanium, niobium, tantalum and rare-earth elements. SUBSTANCE: initial material is treated under sealed conditions with hydrochloric acid with concentration of 35.5-40% with solid:liquid ratio of 1:3.4-20.0 and temperature of 75-100 C. Initial material is used in the form of laparite, ilmenite, sphene, perovskite, titanomagnetic and lithium niobate. Treatment is carried out at initial pressure of 0.2-0.5 MPa. Process is conducted under counterflow conditions. EFFECT: reduced process energy capacity due to reduced treatment temperature with high degree of recovery of valuable components into solution, and simplified process equipment. 4 cl, 17 ex
