OPERATING EQUIPMENT OF MOTOR GRADER Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: earth-moving and transportation machinery for ground grading and moving; roads maintenance. SUBSTANCE: operating equipment includes draft frame, swinging circle with blade and hydraulic cylinders attached to draft frame. The latter has dampers and bell-cranks hinged with its one arm to hydraulic cylinder rods, and with their other arm to dampers. Drafty frame has swinging lock. Damper is springy and controlled. Hydraulic cylinders of operating equipment suspension of motor grader are connected with draft frame not rigidly but by means of spring dampers. It results in the fact that blade is pressed to working surface not by total weight of motor grader but only by force of spring compression and weight of draft frame, that considerably reduces blade friction force. EFFECT: reduced wear of working member of motor grader, higher productivity and reliability of machine. 3 cl, 2 dwg
