FIELD: updating of residential buildings. SUBSTANCE: method includes installation from each side of building of pylons resting on foundation of existing building and risalites between pylons and resting on local reinforcement of foundation. Pylons and risalites are connected with one another by plates and rigidly connected to building. Stories are superstructured with expansion of building for value of risalite protrusion with transmission of load to pylons and risalites. EFFECT: higher reliability of updated building. 4 dwg
