FIELD: civil engineering, particularly, designs of multilayer blocks for windows, doors and shop-windows. SUBSTANCE: multilayer block for protection of room openings has external and internal sheets of glass and middle sheet made of polycarbonate. Sheets are secured with clearances between them, framed with seal and located in box. Glass sheets are chamfered in places of contact with seal at angles of 30-50 deg with chamfer height of 0.5-10 mm and sheet thickness of 2-8 mm. Middle sheet made of polycarbonate is rounded off in places of contact with seal with radius of 1-50 mm and sheet thickness of 2-8 mm. Ratio of clearance value between internal and middle sheets to clearance value between middle and external sheets within 1-5. EFFECT: adequate tightness of structure at large differences of outdoor and indoor temperatures. 3 cl, 2 dwg
