FIELD: oil production. SUBSTANCE: connection includes coupling provided with two recesses with tapered thread in which internal ends of two metal pipes are screwed. Pipes are fitted with respective thread and their end zones have no thread. Front walls of end zones thrust one into the other. Space is provided between side walls of these zones and opposite round wall of coupling. Internal and external pairs of stop shoulders prevent excessive driving-in. Height of internal and external thread teeth is identical. The method includes the first connection of coupling to the first internal threaded member by driving-in and sealing till one operating surface of the first pair of shoulders thrusts upon the other. Then the second internal member is driven in till front walls of two internal members thrust into each other with space preserved between operating surfaces of the second pair of shoulders.
