METHOD OF FASTENING TACKLE MEMBER PROVIDED WITH INNER SPACE TO FISHING LINE Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: amateur and sports fishing. SUBSTANCE: to secured tackle member with inner space on fishing line an elastic member is used. This member is connected with unstretchable member and is stretched and placed in inner space of tackle member. Fishing line is put inside tackle member space together with elastic member. After setting of elastic member, it is cut between tackle members with allowance for knots. After cutting of elastic without allowance, edges of space are flared. Elastic member can be connected with unstretchable member by crossing elastic member with unstretchable member. Elastic member can be connected with unstretchable member also by binding their ends by thin flexible unstretchable member (silk thread, fishing line, hair or other resilient materials). After stretching of elastic member its surface can be coated with glue, and fishing line can be coated with antiadherent protective layer. Size of elastic member should exceed size of space in fishing tackle. Thanks to it a wide range of fishing tackle members can be secured without deformation of fishing line.
