PROCESS OF ELECTROLYSIS OF AQUEOUS SOLUTION OF SALT Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

Abstract RU 2150532 C1

FIELD: electrochemistry. SUBSTANCE: operation of periodic reversal of current in electrodes and operation of dilution of electrolyte with water are conducted in accordance with invention during electrolysis of aqueous solution of salt with use of electrode without active coat and electrode with active coat. Electrolysis is conducted in two stages as minimum. At first stage electrodes without active coat are used in the capacity of anode and cathode and periodic reversal of current in them is conducted. Next stages of electrolysis are carried out with dilution of electrolyte obtained at previous stage with water. In this case electrode with active coat is used as anode. EFFECT: increased efficiency of process. 1 cl
