FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device relates to water treatment equipment and may be used for drinking water treatment as well as for treatment household and industrial effluents. Device comprises chamber 1 for water to be treated with feed appliances 2 and two perforated plate filtration elements 4 arranged in said chamber one after another along water flow so that allows water passage there through. Said plate elements adjoin chamber lateral surface and feature height smaller than that of chamber. They allow water flow at chamber top, right above their top edges. Chamber comprises also purified water chamber 8 arranged downstream of said filtration elements, and outlet branch pipe 3 arranged along water flow and downstream of chamber 8. Height of the latter is smaller than that of chamber height and its front surface has filtration holes 10. Note here that chamber 8 is mounted to allow water passage in chamber top part above top surface and at chamber bottom below bottom surface. Besides, device comprises appliance to discharge purified water from chamber made up of pipeline running therefrom and communicated with chamber 8.
EFFECT: simplified design, high efficiency of water treatment.
