FIELD: textile industry, in particular, weft-knitted fabric of derived weaves, designed for production of domestic, sportive and technical articles.
SUBSTANCE: double-layer knitted fabric comprises two layers of derived lasting weave, said layers being connected with one another. Underlaps of one knitted fabric layer are wound around underlaps of other layer. Each link in each layer has underlap, said underlaps being made elongated. Courses of face links and reverse links are arranged in alternation.
EFFECT: increased form stability of knitted fabric.
