SUBSTANCE: proposed gas burner for heating appliances has cooled plate with large number of channels to pass fuel-air mixture pressure-fed by air blower and subjected to reaction in zone of channel mouths at side of combustion chamber to form torch-like flame. Wall burner plate form side of combustion chamber should be made stepped to form definite contact surface passing through convex zones of flame base between flame base in contact with burner plate and edges of channel mouths and passing also to side zones or into side zones.
