SUBSTANCE: the device, having a housing, test prod, displacement transducer and a screw-nut pair, uses a load transducer. A connector is installed on the housing for connecting the outputs of the strain bridges of the displacement and load transducers to the analog-to-digital converter. The strain gauges have metallofoil resistors transmitting simultaneously an electric signal to the converter, thus the proportional load-to-displacement ratio indicates the joint cartridge elasticity on the screen in digits. The meter provides for monitoring the test prod displacement from 0 to 0.5 mm with an accuracy of load within 0 to 25N.
