FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves refreshing the central and peripheral ends of a nerve with epineural flaps being retained. Then, the central end of the nerve is drawn as close as possible to the peripheral one and fixed by the epineural flap to underlying tissues in stretched state. The peripheral end of the nerve is drawn and fixed to the central end with an epineural flap the flap of the central end. Apposition sutures are stitched on the bundles and bundle groups of both crosscut nerve ends lying one opposite to another without being strained. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of sutured nerves functional recovery. 4 dwg
