FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves doing hammock incision by 1/2 of sclera thickness at 12 o'clock position. Sclera flaps are cut out at 9 and 3 o'clock position. Prolene thread on two needles is brought by means of guiding needle making entrance and exit punctures under sclera flaps 0.5-.75 mm from the limbus. The middle portion is brought out to haptic members of the intraocular lens. The lens is implanted and fixed in ciliary sulcus. The needles are additionally conducted through the sclera and the sutures are tied. EFFECT: facilitated introduction of the intraocular lens; reduced risk of postoperative traumatic complications.
