FIELD: laser working of materials, manufacture of aperture materials, possibly making non-woven materials or clothes and perforated films. SUBSTANCE: perforated supporting member with smooth surface is made at process of laser working. Laser beam is moved in set of raster sweeps relative to blank surface. At each sweep laser is driven for preliminarily determined necessary time intervals with intensity sufficient for drilling one or more discrete portions of each hole. Apparatus for making perforated film includes hollow drum with perforated wall made by laser working. Perforated film or non-woven material is formed at using supporting member with smooth surface. EFFECT: enhanced physical properties and appearance of cloth materials and perforated films. 18 cl, 22 dwg, 3 tbl, 4 ex
